The All-on-Six Implant Technique is a restoration method that provides high stability and chewing strength in cases of complete edentulism by fixing the entire dental arch onto 6 strategically placed implants in either the upper or lower jaw.
Treatment Process:
3D Panoramic Planning: Bone quality and sinus locations are analyzed via CT scans to identify the six strongest anchor points for the implants.
Implant Placement: Two implants are placed vertically in the front, and four are tilted in the posterior area to utilize the best available bone density.
Temporary Fixed Bridge: To prevent the patient from being toothless during healing, temporary fixed teeth are attached shortly after surgery.
Osseointegration: A biological healing period of roughly 3-4 months is required for the implants to fuse perfectly with the jawbone.
Final Restoration: High-quality permanent bridges made of zirconium or porcelain are screwed onto the 6 implants for a durable, aesthetic finish.
Benefits and Advantages:
Enhanced Stability: With 6 anchor points, it offers higher load-bearing capacity and a more secure biting feel compared to 4-implant systems.
Bone Preservation: Stimulates the jawbone to prevent the resorption typically seen with tooth loss, maintaining the facial profile.
Lifelong Solution: Eliminates the discomfort of removable dentures; with proper hygiene, it serves as a permanent replacement.
Superior Comfort: Since the palate is not covered, it doesn't interfere with taste or speech, providing a result indistinguishable from natural teeth.
